Ardan policy questions

What should you check before changing anything?

For an Ardan platform account, the platform-level charges and the expenses of individual investments should be considered together. It also helps to distinguish money held in cash from positions invested in funds or other assets.

What is the true portfolio allocation?

Consolidate funds, cash and overlapping exposures to understand equity, fixed income and currency concentrations.

What are the total account costs?

Review disclosed custody, dealing, platform, advisory and fund costs where each applies to the specific account.

Are the holdings suitable for your time horizon?

Compare the liquidity and risk of positions with any planned withdrawals or future spending needs.

Documents that make a review more useful

Account valuation, holdings list, fee schedule, dealing history and any existing adviser agreement.

You can read our guide to understanding a policy valuation before sharing a statement.

Is a platform balance the same as investment performance?

No. The balance may also reflect deposits and withdrawals. Cash-flow-aware calculations give a clearer view.

Frequently asked

Before you make a decision.

Can my existing plan be reviewed without closing it?

Often, yes. Reviewing the documents, valuation, charges and holdings does not require terminating a plan. Available servicing options depend on your provider and policy.

Does changing an adviser mean changing the investment provider?

Not necessarily. Adviser servicing arrangements and transferring or surrendering a policy are different actions. The provider’s rules and account conditions determine what is possible.

Can you tell me exactly how much my plan costs?

Only once the precise product, issue date, policy terms and relevant statements are known. Generic fees shown online might not apply to your contract.

Are you part of the providers mentioned on this website?

Provider names describe the plans that visitors may already hold. This website is not an official provider portal and does not imply an endorsement by any provider.
